Milestones of America: Flex Music by Maryland Composers

Three Reeds and a Horn trio presents Milestones of America: Flex Music by Maryland Composers. Natalie Groom (clarinet), Kat Robinson (horn), and Qun Ren (bassoon) will premiere four commissions by local composers Derek Maseloff, Ashi Day, Alexandra Gardner, and Peter Dayton.

With both the performers and music creators present, between pieces the audience will hear directly from each composer about their work’s backstory, and the concert concludes with an interactive audience Q&A with all of the musicians.

This event takes place at Collington Senior Living Community in Mitchellville, MD.

Three Reeds and a Horn is a classical music trio specializing in "flexible" chamber music which can be played by many different combinations of music. The trio explores many genres in their programs, including a mix of classical, contemporary, world, jazz, and tango works of huge emotional breadth.
